Hopefully this is the first of much more air play to follow. Please listen to Jan’s show, and if you like it you can let him know at jan@ckpcradio.com, orjustusfolk@rogers.com.

About Just Us Folk

“Just Us Folk” is a show devoted to acoustic roots music including contemporary and traditional folk, singer-songwriters, acoustic blues and bluegrass music. Since 1981, Jan Vanderhorst has showcased new and established performers in the world of folk music. Throughout the year Jan travels to folk festivals near and far to interview performers and discuss their craft. An area concert listing of touring performers is also profiled each week.

During his years in folk music, Jan has been a stage MC at many festivals, a judge for both the Canadian Folk Music Awards and the Junos Awards and has served on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals.
