Sea to Sky

Some say I was born where the mountains meet the sea
My mother was the wildcat and my father the great grizzly
Others say I’m from back east but no one really knows
I’m the just the kid you heard about who lives for rock and snow
You might catch me in the early morning light
Way out on the spearhead  rippin up  the alpine
Yeah yeah oh my Seas to sky baby sea to sky

I’m a slider and a scoundrel and I’m scary when I’m stoned
All I own is a pickup truck and pair of overlords
There ain’t no woman ever gonna take me home
Just one look at me and they know I’m too far gone
So don’t you go tellin me to stide behind your line
Cause in that frozen wonder land is where I know who I am
Yeah yeah oh my Seas to sky baby sea to sky

I marked my final tracks on a bright and crispy day
When an avy came and buried me in the bottom of Duffy lake
The spirits of the high and hard don’t have much to say
They guard their treasures jealously and wait for your mistakes
For every scary powder freak breaking out over the line
I’ll be out there waiting for ya way up in the alpine
Yeah yeah oh my Seas to sky baby sea to sky
